In de ICD-11 bestaat nu Prolonged Grief Disorder (PGD). Behandelmogelijkheden voor emotionele problemen na (traumatische) verlies nemen toe. Dit nieuwe handboek geeft een overzicht van die behandelmogelijkheden en het onderzoek dat daaraan ten grondslag ligt. In dit middagsymposium worden kenmerken, achtergronden en behandelingen van traumatische rouw ge\u00efntroduceerd.<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><em><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"mojoimage-95-mojoimage\" class=\"mojoImage floatright\" src=\"https:\/\/traumatischerouw.zzcon.org\/uploadedfiles\/handboektraumatischerouw_3d.png?v=1536312398\" alt=\"mojoimagealt-95-alt\" \/><\/em><\/td>\n<td>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Traumatische rouw<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rouw is het best te zien als een continu\u00fcm, lopend van licht tot ontwrichtend. Mensen met traumatische rouw ervaren langer dan een jaar na het verlies nog een kwellend verlangen naar of sterke emotionele pijn bij het denken aan hun dierbare. Vaak is het allesbepalend voor wat men denkt, doet en voelt.
